Sony provides a confirmation, it plans to launch an online store similar to Apple's iTunes. The virtual store will sell music, movies, books, and various applications.
Sony also promises online stores allow users to upload videos, photos, and other digital content.
Sony executive Kazuo Hirai said the new service is expected to depend on the model of the PlayStation Network.
Hirai also later explained that the network's PlayStation 3 has become the biggest success of Sony in the market trading online content.
PlayStation Networks has more than 33 million registered users and has the advantage of offering thousands of game content, TV shows, movies can be downloaded. In addition, Sony has just reached an agreement with another network called Netflix that allows its members to menstreaming Networks PlayStation film and other digital content.
